Developments
Inland Ecology provides ecological and environmental assessments for all types of developments. If you require a report or an assessment to get your development through the approvals process, Inland Ecology can undertake the required investigations and reporting. This includes both Part 4 and Part 5 assessments.

Conservation
We provide assessments for private and public land conservation projects including Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) funded programs and schemes like Biodiversity Stewardship Sites (BSS). If you need a biodiversity assessment to get your conservation project running or approved, Inland Ecology has the experience to get it done. We are also a recognised Land for Wildlife Regional Provider with the Community Environment Network (CEN).

Management
Inland Ecology can manage your development or rehabilitation projects by providing important advice and procedures to protect, restore or enhance biodiversity and environmental features on your site or farm. We complete management plans and management procedures in line with governmental guidelines and advice to make sure your project is compliant. We can also manage vegetation clearing and provide fauna handling and pre-clearing surveys, as well as managing revegetation or habitat restoration, including on farms.

Monitoring
If you want or need ecological monitoring on your property or site, Inland Ecology can monitor weeds, revegetation plantings, threatened species, fauna and general vegetation. We can also complete monitoring for Biodiversity Stewardship Sites in line with the BCT Ecological Monitoring Module, and for EPA License monitoring requirements. Our sister company, McMahon Environmental Consultants, provides a wide range of environmental monitoring services including for surface water, soils, groundwater, dust and gas.

Surveying
All our assessments generally include thorough and comprehensive ecological and environmental surveys to inform our reports. We provide vegetation and flora surveys in line with the Biodiversity Assessment Method. We also do weed surveys, and threatened fauna and flora surveys in accordance with all approved survey methods under the BAM, including nocturnal spotlighting, bat acoustic detection, nest monitoring, call playback surveys, frog surveys, reptile surveys including tile boards, flora transects, and habitat searches.

Peer review
As a BAM Accredited Assessor and experienced ecologist and environmental consultant, Tom can provide comprehensive reviews of ecological and environmental reports to aid consultants and local councils in ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
